Novotel Bangkok Impact

I chose this hotel mainly for its close proximity to Impact Arena since we have a concert nearby and I didn’t have the energy to struggle with Grab or P’Win just to get back to my hotel in the city centre 😂 but it turned out to be so much more than just a convenient location. From the moment we checked in, the staff impressed us with their warmth and attentiveness. It also happened to be my friend’s birthday on the day of our arrival and the staff has helped prepared a lovely birthday cake for us! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra special. (Side note: where can we actually buy that cake? We didn’t see it at the deli downstairs and we’d honestly go back just for another slice!) Another huge plus, the team kindly offered us a late checkout when they heard my flight was delayed. That extra bit of flexibility meant I could rest and enjoy my stay a little longer without the stress of waiting around. Would definitely come back and maybe even stay an extra night just for the cake! 😆

We needed close proximity to the Impact Center for a fair price and your hotel gave us exactly that and more. Of particular note was the food. Because of the quality of your dinner restaurant, and the included breakfast, we ate all meals in your hotel, furthering the convenience you provided us. The support staff (front desk and telephone operator) were perfectly polite, helpful, spoke good English, and had that beautiful Thai humility. The last time we were in Bangkok we stayed at The Peninsula. It was fabulous, but more expensive. Our stay with you was equally fabulous because the convenience, dining, service, and physical property were an incredible value. As I like to say, the pleasure to pain ratio was quite favorable.

Executive 9th floor Rooms were good but minus points for the allergy bedding and no child amenities. Small kids club for little kids in the lobby area. Busy hotel due to conventions and 2 concerts. Also minus points for the copy and paste response from the hotel that is the same for every review. Did they really read this?? A bit disappointed that as soon as a concert is announced, the price immediately jumps but falls back to normal as closer to the event as hotel wasn't full.
