The customer service in this hotel is brilliant. Also breakfast was very fresh, warm and tastes nice. Nice central location too. Not giving a 10 because the rooms are quite old and tired and a refresh will be good and make it more modern. Despite looking old, the cleanliness was good.
Excellent service. Excellent team. The hotel building itself is not 5-star (nor does it claim to be); - and it's been there a while so there are obvious flaws in layout/design. My thing is that the staff have been trained to such a standard that they could walk into roles at The Dorchester and fit right in. Friendly and affordable stay, with expectations exceeded by the actual humans paid to serve their guests. WONDERFUL.
Great location close to loads of restaurants and bars and a short walk to Centenary Square. Very comfortable, if a little dated, rooms with decent enough facilities (hotels - please, please give us bedside sockets on both sides!), though the air conditioning was a little under powered for the heatwave. Service, however, was great. Lovely, welcoming, helpful staff and all our interactions were a pleasure. Breakfast was also good with a reasonable range.
