Novotel Bristol Centre

we have stayed here several times. food is lovely a little expensive but worth it. Staff are down to earth and very helpful. rooms are clean and spacious. They even have a little area from kids to read or play table football next to the reception.

The rooms are fine but not enough plugs for charging your phone around the bed. Housekeepers need to be retrained for bed making. The sheets are never tugged in properly. What happened to hospital corners when making a bed properly? The bath in our room needs a proper scrub as body fat around the bath. We liked the breakfast staff and the breakfast itself. The reception staff needs training in greeting guests and being present. The answer just seemed to be no in everything we asked. For us, they had no personality at the front desk. We liked the location and the French bar man who knows how to serve drinks and do service. The hotel is dog friendly and we could park our car safely. Thanks

Really enjoyed our annual stay. During check in someone started to check us in then just walked off to serve someone else. Luckily a lovely gentleman took over and helped us out. During the stay we were made very welcome by the lovely staff in particular Serena and Gerry who always smiled and welcomed us. They worked very hard with our large group and stayed happy the whole time. Food was great as always. Rooms were clean. Room 321 the fridge wasn’t working properly. The air con was excellent in our room but my in laws adjoining room was very warm at night. We will be back next year.
