Novotel Caserta Sud

I have to say that Cinzia and Carla at the reception were absolutely ashonishing and very very helpulf. They were also kind to suggest us the right place for dinner. All in all I have to praise them and we really appreciate their warm kindness.

Light and shadow. The staff is really nice and helpful. I had some issues that they helped me with very nicely. Of course it helps to be friendly yourself. The rooms are a bit of everything. The flooring is nice and clean. The bed is really good, comfortable, not too soft, 2 pillows, and a second blanket and another pillow is in the closet. A silent (!) fridge can give you a hot drink, and you can have a hot drink (soluble coffee and tea), too. The room was very silent. Important to me, as I don't like noise at all. What is really bad: The shower was not well cleaned. There was hair from the previous inhabitant. And the caulking really needs replacement.

Not recommended at all. Rooms are beautiful, but the service is very poor. The breakfast was supposed to be until 10.30, they finished it at 10. Food quality was quite poor. As we asked what time the breakfast was the next day, the staff didn't know. The hotel doesn't allow to take towels from the room to the pool, yet they force the guests to pay 4e each for towel rental-ridiculous. After having stayed in a family-owned hotel with only 3 stars I Sorrento, you felt as if you were in an institution with very impersonal service and simply zero experience level to make your stay memorable.
