Novotel Changsha Intl Exhibition Center

Patty The General Manager is a kind warm hearted lady who made our ending of our stay absolutely brilliant she arranged a car to pick us up to the airport to send us off, and even took care of our breakfast. The hotel is extremely big mostly used for Conference clientele, we stayed on a very quiet period of the hotel and was nice to have a huge breakfast room to ourself. Breakfast has allot of variety western style and of course dim sum and Chinese dishes. There is a small convenience store inside the hotel which is handy. The hotel is only 25mins on one single metro line straight into the city center a bonus is the metro is only 3mins walk from the hotel. I shall stay again next year I am in china.

This is a huge new hotel, located across a huge new exhibition centre, close to nice parkland. As of October 2023, this area is empty of people, but has all the infrastructure. There are blocks of unfinished apartments surrounding the area.

Check-in took longer time since the reception couldn’t find my booking, even though I booked via official Accor application. I am not recognized as a gold status at all nor All Plus China loyalty program, not sure if it a standard of Accor worldwide, alone speaking English. Hotel was so crowded due to dancing competition group. As consequence, i felt not at peace. There was even food spill on the elevator's floor during rush morning hour. Room was ok, bed is comfortable, hotel seems a new property. Short distance to metro easy to commute, hotel location is quite outside city, but good choice for business as it close to exhibition center and airport.
