Novotel Charleroi Centre

Very helpful and kind staff. Felt taken care of and gave good tips about the city. Hotel location is central and has nice clean rooms and hotel areas.

My wife, our 8-month-old daughter, our dog, and I stayed at the hotel for one night while traveling through the area. The streets surrounding the hotel felt a bit dodgy, as there were quite a few people who appeared to be under the influence of substances. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was booked for a private event, so my family and I had to go out and look for food. However, we managed to find a very nice restaurant further down the street. The hotel room had a nice view and all the basic necessities one could ask for. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The beds, sheets, and towels were clean and fresh, but overall, the hotel felt like it could use a bit of extra attention and care. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay, from check-in to breakfast. The breakfast offered all the standard items one would expect—it was nice, though nothing extraordinary.

We stayed at Novotel Charleroi Centre for two nights in August. It’s a typical city hotel – clean, functional, and similar to what you’d expect from a mid-range chain like Scandic in Sweden. The location is convenient, with direct access to a shopping mall and public transport nearby. Breakfast and restaurant offerings were standard – not bad, but nothing that stands out. Overall, a solid 3-star experience suitable for short business or transit stays.
