We stayed after catching the Spirit of Tasmania to bring our cars across. The Novotel is a short drive across the river.The room was VERY comfortable, the valet parking very reasonably priced. There was off site parking for our second vehicle a block away. There was off breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The staff were very helpful. Fantastic stay
I was very impressed with the hotel and its staff. I had a very spacious king room with a huge balcony. I loved the soft, large towels and the very comfortable bed. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was a wide variety of choices for breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently placed with a beautiful outlook over the waterfront and parklands.
Today around 1.30 I approached your reception at Novotel Devonport and a young blonde haired girl came out of the back room. I explained to her that I was hoping to gain some information regarding accommodation for April 2026 for my Wedding. I was wanting to know about the rooms as we have about 60 guests coming from Melbourne that need accommodation. I was also wanting to book 2 double rooms the night before the Wedding day then consolidate to 1 room the day of the Wedding and I asked if I could see a room size so I could decide if it was going to be big enough for my Wedding Party to get ready in. I was told by your receptionist that "no sorry we don't show our rooms to the public" . I said "really as I was about to spend about $700, plus what the guests would of spent.. OK no worries i will go else where" her reply was "ok, no worries"
