The hotel Is really nice, they have a great family room, it was all good. We would definitely recommend. The food and room service wasn't great, I would avoid

It was not the first time I book a Novotel. This time something was dissappointing. The staff was super nice and pro as always, the breakfast amazing and the late check out worth the price. But the rooms are a little bit old, they need a major refresh. Not enough electric plugs (in fact none near beds), ruined curtains, toilet with small mud here and there. For this, the price was a little bit too much.

I booked a Deluxe room for one night for a business trip. I arrived at the hotel around 11:30 p.m., and I was extremely surprised by the way I was greeted. The receptionist spoke to me in a curt and unpleasant manner, clearly more concerned with something other than my check-in. He handed me my documents and the tourist tax receipt abruptly, almost throwing them in my face. Furthermore, his appearance left something to be desired: his suit was very dirty, and his hand hygiene was particularly questionable (nails blackened with dirt...). This lack of professionalism is unacceptable, especially at the reception desk of a hotel. When I asked if it was possible to book a taxi for the next day around 11:00 a.m., the answer was a simple "no," without the slightest explanation or offer of an alternative. Finally, he didn't even clearly tell me where my room was—I went looking for it on my own, without any help. Fortunately, during my checkout, a very friendly receptionist took the time to call me a taxi without any problem. This contrasts sharply with the attitude of the previous day, and shows that the problem lies with the person in question, and not with the establishment as a whole. Despite everything, it remains a bad experience, one I didn't expect to have in this type of hotel. The establishment should seriously review the professionalism and presentation of some of its staff members. The welcome is the first impression one makes, and this one was unfortunately very disappointing.
