Novotel Florianopolis

Great location and excellent service! The hotel is in a perfect spot, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would improve is the pool — it would be amazing if it were heated, especially with such a beautiful view! Still, I definitely recommend staying here.

The check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean and the bathroom had great rain shower head. The breakfast was good there was plenty of variety. The gym had a smith machine which you don't see in many Hotels. I had good work out! The pool area could use a few more lounging chairs, but if you go early you have the pool area to ourself! I ate in the restaurant one night and ordered the fish, it was very tasty but i had to order some vegetables to complete the meal.

My wife and I stayed here for a week for my sister's wedding at a nearby beach venue. This hotel is well situated, close to many restaurants, shopping centers, supermarkets, and businesses. Additionally, taxis are readily available to come pick you up and take you anywhere on the island :) Unfortunately, the hotel lost my laundry while we were there, including part of the outfit I was supposed to wear on my sister's special day. After much back and forth over several days, they offered to compensate us for the lost items, but not for the inconvenience. They did the bare minimum. Overall a decent stay, but I'd probably stick to the laundromat around the corner next time!
