Stayed here on an overnight returning to UK from the south. East access, ample parking. Bright modern hotel with large rooms ( although air con not efficient in mine on a very hot night! Lots of sports facilities here, including outdoor pool, so seemed very popular for people weekending. Excellent breakfast. We were very fortunate to enjoy a “musical soirée”on our Saturday night visit so dancing under the stars was magical!

The hotel would need a serious refresh for sure. But there is many many positive things. The staff is young, professional and very gentle. The room got a separate toilet and two doors separating the bedroom from the entrance. Little details like that which are quite rare nowadays. All in all it was a very good experience in a very quiet place.

I stayed at this hotel with my partner. While the rooms were perfectly fine – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained – and the overall staff was respectful and courteous, our experience was unfortunately marred by the behavior of the breakfast manager. Her tyrannical attitude toward the young servers made us feel quite uncomfortable. She reprimanded them harshly, sometimes even in front of guests, creating a tense and unpleasant atmosphere first thing in the morning. This level of unprofessionalism stood in stark contrast to the rest of the staff, who were otherwise impeccable. It’s a real shame, because without this disruptive element, our stay could have been much more enjoyable. I strongly urge the management to reconsider how this service is run, for the well-being of both the team and future guests.
