Room interior was so so. Food nice, service ok. Keep in mind if you pay in dollar there is a hidden cost you only learn after having the receipt and when you want to cancel the payment and pay in euro they are not accepting the request.
Novotel was recommended as one of the better hotels in Grenoble, but the experience was very disappointing. There were many damages in the room, old stains everywhere and electricity issues. Worst was probably the breakfast. The area was disgusting, the scrambled eggs burnt, the patisserie dry. All together, very unprofessional.
Unfortunately, our stay at this congress hotel was disappointing. The entire place feels outdated and in need of urgent renovation, especially the rooms. The carpet was dirty, the couch stained, and there was visible mold in the shower. A bad odor lingered throughout the room, making it quite unpleasant. On the positive side, the hotel has a convenient underground garage and is within a 5-minute walk to the city center. The train station is also nearby. Despite the location advantages, we won’t be returning.
