Novotel Guiyang Downtown Hotel

This is a wonderful hotel with the perfect site (near the green line zhong shan west road station subway railways 🚇) in downtown. The room is very clean with wonderful city views and you can also try the breakfast buffet. Finally, the price here is very reasonable and the hotel will give you very good experience!

Pros: Top location, top service, rooms neat & clean, no smoking rooms are actually no smoking rooms (bingo!) If you are a vegetarian, ask for the veggie burguer at the restaurant on the 3rd floor, don't expect the lentil, falafel or soy meat pattie, this burguer is just layers of delicious grilled veggies topped with melted cheese inside a burguer bun, a real veggie burguer, made in China! Cons:The front desk can only arrange tours for chinese speakers, and if you want the free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel you must call in advance to confirm and cross your fingers that there is an english speaking person around the hotel when you call as the english hearing comprehension level of the recepcionist is far from good, I called from the airport and the receptionist couldn't find my reservation so she asked me to call back in 10 mins as she couldn't send me the shuttle without my reservation confirmed, of course i took a cab and that solved everything, anyway it seems that the free shuttle service I requested by email before arriving Guiyang was never received by the hotel. Anyway, it's a great value for money, if you speak chinese that's definitely your place to stay, you will be pampered to death, but if you don't speak chinese you might encounter some issues like the arrangement of the airport free shuttle and booking english tours.

Good location,KFC just downstairs,a few step walk to shopping,Very nice hotel staff (receptionist and restaurant staff)room clean,but no air conditioning from Midnight to Morning,I planned to stay 5nights there, after two nights change to another hotel due to cannot sleep well
