Novotel Koh Si Chang

We love this hotel. Love the privacy of the pool villa, it has the most amazing view over the sea, which is full of ships and barges. We rented motorbikes from the hotel, a good idea as the hotel is a good distance from the rest of the island. This makes the rest of the island so much more accessible. Unlike other places in Thailand the draconian helmet laws are not being applied here....yet, so enjoy the freedom on Koh Si Chiang! With so many local places serving awesome seafood it is a foodies heaven, you just have to ride the roads to find them. The staff are very welcoming and the resort is really quiet, it has its own pier so you can arrive in style! They also now have a Cafe on the other side of the island, which they run shuttles to and from.

Very nice hotel , the room is big and clean . There are plenty more f activities to do in the hotel itself . Very lovely salted water pool with infinity pool . I would recommend to use hotel ‘s speed boat to cross to Koh Sri Chang . Your trip would be very comfortable. Sometimes you need to pay more to avoid the inconveniences. The trip was very satisfying.

Disappointing Stay — Serious Concerns About Safety and Cleanliness I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. Cleanliness and Room Condition: Upon entering the room, we were shocked to find a scorpion crawling on the floor (Also found lots of insects later on). Even more disturbing, there was a piece of a nail on the bed—completely unacceptable and frankly creepy. As we opened the door, a nut fell off, highlighting poor maintenance and a clear lack of attention to safety and room condition. Service: The receptionist was unprofessional and unfriendly. Her attitude and the way she handled the situation were disappointing, especially given how serious our concerns were. Breakfast: The breakfast was hit or miss. While some dishes were decent, others were just average. We tried the eggs Benedict, and it had an unusually sour taste that didn’t sit well with us. View: One of the few highlights of this place is the view. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from here, which was quite lovely. Location: The hotel is located in a remote northeastern area of the island. Reaching it requires passing a graveyard, which felt eerie—especially at night. Overall: This was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Serious issues with cleanliness, safety, and service make it hard to recommend. The view alone is not enough to justify the risks and discomfort.
