Novotel Kunming City Center

Very good hotel . We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in April 2025. Special shout out to front office Kit Long who went the extra mile to help us secure restaurants reservations as we had difficulty with the local apps and language Location - Good location that is in between getting around most local attractions making taxi (Didi) a short ride away. There is a train station a minutes walk away and the train station provides underground access to the nearby South Asia Mall. The mall is great for food and shopping ! Rooms - Rooms are huge and there is an option for a third occupant especially convenient if you have a young traveller with you and you will not need to get an extra room; room service daily is clean and good service No regrets choosing this location

We were delighted to discover the hotel’s modern facilities and fresh ambiance, which certainly contributed to a memorable experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In particular, I would like to extend a special thank you to Noya for going above and beyond to assist us. Her knowledge and recommendations for local attractions greatly enriched our visit. Additionally, we appreciated the hotel’s convenient location near the MRT and shopping center, making our exploration of the area effortless. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. We stayed at the Novotel Kunming City Center for one night in September 2024, and it was truly a fantastic experience! We want to give special thanks to Amber Fang at the reception. We had a stressful moment when we lost our passport in a taxi, but Amber handled everything with such care and efficiency, managing to track it down and have it returned to us quickly. She also provided excellent advice for both our stay in Kunming and our onward travels. Amber’s exceptional service made all the difference, and we are incredibly grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hotel with not just comfort, but a team that genuinely cares about its guests.
