Novotel Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa

Love it here! 150 acres of beautiful scenery just a short 15 minute drive into Thredbo. We stayed in a well presented fully equipped Studio apt nearby the lake & resort amenities. The perfect place to explore the many walking or cycling trails & enjoy the local wildlife & stunning scenery. I could happily live here!:) The Cuisine Restaurant is built overlooking the lake among lake side accommodation, offering great service, food & a varied wine list. Staff were warm & friendly. The buffet breakfast varied & plentiful! This resort offers a diverse range of free activities such as archery, tennis, 9 hole par 3 golf course etc including a day spa, gym & indoor swimming pool. There’s also a well equipped ski hire store, small general store & casual restaurant. Everything you need for a great holiday experience. Wide open spaces, distant snow capped ridges & the odd friendly wombat encounter. Highly recommend. 💋

The accommodation was absolutely spectacular. Very well presented and well equipped. The grounds were absolutely stunning to walk around and the wild animal visitors everyday were lovely to see. Only 15 minutes to Thredbo meant it was also very central. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to make the stay as pleasurable as possible. My husband and I are already planning our next trip back.

Nice hotel close to the ski tube however I am giving this 1 star as there is no WIFI ! Yes, u are reading this correctly. In 2024, where WIFI is almost like water and a given for any decent hotel , Novotel Crackenback doesn’t have it and this is after paying $7k for the week !
