My stay was just for a night, but I have to say the customer experience at the check-in check-out and overall interaction with staff was really really pleasant. The room as well was very nice, clean and spacious. The only reason I am not giving it a 10 is because there was no socket beside or near the bed. The only way to charge my phone and laptop was by the television. Additionally if you need to charge you devices simultaneously you need to remove some of the equipment from the wall, such as the speaker or the kettle. Although is a very small thing, but for convenience when you are on a business trip it would have been a plus. Hope my review can help drive improvements.
When we arrived we went to our room and it had not been cleaned. The staff dealt with the issue quickly, apologised and moved us to another room. They couldn't have done more to make our stay welcome and special. We were in a newly decorated room, it was very clean, relaxing and we were very happy. We think the new rooms are modern, light and airy and comfortable. The pool needs a few updates but the staff informed us that they will be refurbishing the pool very soon. Great breakfast and made children feel very welcome. Would recommend this hotel.
We had a mini fridge in the room and the light inside it kept going on and off all night long never slept, my wife could not sleep on the hard bed, my daughter slept. In the pull out sofa, no extra blankets or even a pillow I had to give her mine. 2 sachets of coffee some tea not really what I expected when I booked the room. A family room for 3.people with only 2 towels? Had to use 1 towel for 2 people. Reception guy insisting you sit down to check in talked so "posh" we could not understand him. Pool was very good, sauna and steam room too. Outside area by bar was closed I believe at 10pm not sure why as we wanted to vape wile having a drink but was not allowed. Honestly I stay in lot of hotels as I travel a lot and I was disappointed in the one. Not even locks on bathroom or toilet doors. Dissatisfied at least.
