After our flight got cancelled the airline transported us to Novotel for the night, the staff did an exceptional job at accomodating so many of us at such short notice. The check in process was super efficient, every staff member was exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also great breakfast buffet! Overall really good experience
We had our flight with Iberojet cancelled and were staying in this hôtel for a week. We had a very positive expérience, most of the people who worked in the hôtel were very nice and welcoming. We had a very nice expérience with Déborah who works in the dinning room and with Miroslava who was cleanning our room everyday. Both very nice people who made our difficult stay a more plesant stay. Thanks to everyone working there. Our cancelled flight and all the bad logistics by Iberojet were less painful due to the nice stay here. Location and security were both a plus. Not Even 5 min walking distance from the métro, very close from the airport, a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Plus if you want to go to the city center 30min métro trip and you are there. A very kid friendly hôtel and it also has coworking spaces for people like my husband that work remotely. The only inconvénient expérienced was with a waitress intérim or external that was working those days Ina who was very impolite and very unpleasant to all those of us who had allergies or who had kids. She was not polite at all. She was even sarcastic in one of the days, regarding a bottle of water we didn’t wanted for it to go to waste. Anyhow this was a very small thing compared to all the good things. Plus we mentioned this to her maître and this was taken into account. I forgot to mention the incredible and happy way of serví h of Abdoul , always so welcoming and trying to cheer people with his amazing vibe. Please take note of this we are also very thankful for him Thanks Novotel Campo de Las Naciones.
Disappointing Stay at a Premium Price – Not Worth the Cost I recently stayed at Novotel Madrid Campo de las Naciones for two nights, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations—especially considering the high price point. The room itself was very basic, lacking the comfort and attention to detail you’d expect from an international hotel brand. The floor was visibly dirty, and the overall cleanliness did not reflect a premium standard. Amenities were extremely limited: there were no proper cups for tea or coffee, only two disposable ones for two guests, and no milk provided—something that seems like a glaring oversight, especially when catering to international guests. If you want more cups, you’ll need to keep requesting them, which becomes tiring quickly. There was also a limited selection of minibar, no selection of teas or coffees, and no small touches that make a hotel stay comfortable, such as shower gowns, slippers, or an iron/ironing board in the room. These are standard amenities in many similarly priced hotels and their absence here was noticeable. We chose this hotel solely for its proximity to a conference venue, but in hindsight, I would strongly recommend staying in the city center instead. Madrid’s metro system is extremely efficient and well-connected, making it easy to commute even if your event is near this hotel. The city center hotels offer much more value for money, better service, and a more comfortable stay overall. Bottom line: The convenience of location does not justify the lackluster experience. I expected more from Novotel, and unfortunately, I left disappointed.
