Novotel Manaus

I recently stayed at Novotel Manaus and had a great experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with excellent service from the staff. The front desk team was friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning (essential in Manaus!), and a clean, well-stocked bathroom. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city and rainforest. The breakfast buffet was impressive, a wide variety of fresh fruits, local dishes, and international options. The on-site restaurant also served quality meals throughout the day. The pool and fitness center were clean and well-kept, offering a nice way to unwind. While the hotel is located a bit outside the main tourist area, it's still conveniently located for business travelers and those with transportation. Overall, Novotel Manaus is a solid choice for anyone visiting the city. Great comfort, service, and value for money.

After my flight was canceled, the airline provided a hotel stay, which in general turned out to be good. The facilities were clean, modern, and comfortable, offering a much-needed rest after a stressful day at the airport. However, the arrival at the hotel was disappointing. When I presented the airline-issued voucher, the front desk attendant incorrectly claimed there was an issue with my name. It turned out she had confused my name with that of the airline staff member listed on the voucher. Given how exhausted I already was, this unnecessary confusion made the check-in process frustrating. The hotel restaurant offered a lunch that ranged from average to good quality. There was live music during lunch, but the volume was excessively loud, which made it hard to relax. Despite these hiccups, the stay itself was pleasant overall, and I appreciated the comfortable environment. With better reception service, the experience could have been good.

The internet was down the entire night which made it difficult to checkin. It was a long wait to reserve the rooms and the receptionists had to walk each one of us to the rooms to check in. The walkways were smelling a bit as well.... Also, the rooms were not close to families as we had requested. The receptionist also mentioned they would provide free water for the night to all us in lieu of the internet being down and bad checkin experience but that was also not honored.
