Novotel Marseille Centre Prado Vélodrome

This review is the result of the great care the hotel staff showed towards my mother’s belongings. After having checked-out, upon noticing something was left in the room, they located the items and assisted us in having everything sent to an out-of-town location. The reception staff was lovely, particularly Miss Tuti Fofana, who made sure the belongings were safely given to a driver and even helped me offer him details via phone, as there was a language barrier. Thank you!

This is not a good hotel at all, with very poor service. I have forgotten a shirt in the cupboard when I left and they did not even searched for it, they told me that the cleaner did not found it or the new guest of the room has not found it. I was calling them for two days and they did not even care. I am placing also an official complaint with Novotel hotel chain. This kind of actions do not honor the Novotel name. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone that would like to have a decent service. It is impossible that you forget a simple shirt and someone has stolen it because the hotel service is so poor!!

Honestly, this was very bad. I spent the past 5 weeks in Europe and this was the worst hotel I came across. The HVAC wasn’t working properly, and water was leaking from the ceiling. Carpet was completely wet and moldy. The smell was unbearable. I can’t believe they put this room to rent, didn’t say anything to us, and simply let us find out. What reasonable business does that? Once we complained, they told us they were full and offered 50% off to stay or a full refund if we departed. At that point it’s Saturday evening, booking something else last minute was going to be a nightmare, so we are stuck with it. We would have reserved something else in the first place had we known! Horrible experience, will give 0 stars if I could. I hate that they did that. And the bathroom was moldy as well.
