Novotel Monterrey Valle

1 - I didn't know is a remodeling on going so didn't know there is already remodeled rooms and the old ones, we noticed that in check-in and ours was a not remodeled room ): 2 - I was expected collect All Accor points, but no, again at check-in told me that will not collected any points because booking not was trough All Accor website ): 3 - I asked for a better coffee maker, they said no, only if pay the upgrade to a remodeled room, how much ? almost the double, then call me with less expensive offer that I rejected of course.

We were for a business event about 70 people, everything was great, just elevator, one out of order, and there is no assess to the stairs, safety Wise its unbelievable. We ended up to wait for several times of elevator to handle both, event guests and hotel guests,

After booking I got an email that the hotel was under renovations. I asked to be put in a quiet room, the friendly agent said I was originally in a room right above construction but she put me in a room at the end of the hall. The hotel opened in 2001 and supposedly "renovated" in 2010...yet the room I stayed in looked like it was built in the 80's. Horrible furniture probably bought from old stock and definitely never been renovated. I could hear loud music every night.
