Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, a fun kids corner in the lobby for them to play (inside) and a simple but nice swimming pool to cool off. We recommend!

nteresting reading other reviews. Having stayed in several Novotels, I find them all pretty similar in terms of quality. Whilst they are most definitely not a 4/5-star experience, they serve a purpose and are still our top choice for a family rest stop when travelling through France. Like others, this Novotel has a lovely reception/bar/restaurant area. It’s modern, clean, and well maintained. Also like others, the bedrooms are in desperate need of modernisation or, at the very least, a refresh. That said, the beds are lovely and comfortable, and we really liked that the sofa bed became a bunk bed—perfect for our slightly older children. I was pleased to have a kettle in the room, as in England this is commonplace, and I haven’t always found this to be the case in Europe. We arrived late at the hotel (8:30 p.m.) and waited for some time for someone to check us in. The four kids were loud after a long drive from Calais, so I’m surprised nobody noticed us. We asked for assistance from the bar area, and in fairness, from that point on, the service was friendly and attentive. We didn’t have breakfast—instead, I walked over to the supermarket and picked up some pastries and fruit. Check-out was at 11 a.m., so there was time for the kids to have a quick swim. I would recommend the Novotel for a stopover with a family.

This is the first Novotel hotel on this planet with no aircon and lift. The owner doesn’t want to turn on the aircon to save money. And tell all customers there was no aircon and open window. We opened the window and all kinds of insects flew in. And the kids were scared like hell. Whole night cannot sleep. No one at front desk when check in. Breakfast was lousy and greeted by flies. The toilet is very small even for Asian. ALL app , please delist this hotel and stop sending people to hell. book this hotel if you want to have a hell experience with high price. All those who wrote good reviews are staffs of this hotel. This is a scam hotel. Shame on you Mulhouse! Shame on you France!
