Novotel München Airport

The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful in answering our questions about local transportation and the hotel itself. Our room was well-appointed and included all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. As first-time visitors to Germany, we were impressed, and the hotel made a very positive impression. The only aspect that detracted from our overall experience was the restaurant pricing. Meal costs were noticeably higher than other nearby options. While we did choose to dine at the hotel during this visit, we’ll likely explore other local restaurants in the future, or consider accommodations with more reasonably priced dining options for families.

The hotel offers comfortable, clean, and quiet rooms with all the necessary amenities, making it a great choice for both business travelers and families. The staff are friendly and helpful. From Munich Airport, you can easily get to the Novotel hotel by taking bus number 635 for only 2 euros.

The room was pretty small for the location and price. We had three people, parents with a teenager so it would have been nicer to have a solid door for the washroom so light does not spill out of the glass panels. Location was not as convenient as we thought it was a walkable distance from the Airport train station. While that is true, walking across vast parking lots and not specific pedestrian walk ways was not very pleasant. The bus stop at the hotel to get to the airport worked out quite well for us as it was fairly on time. I agree with others that a shuttle bus to and from the hotel dedicated to travelers would have been nice.
