Small but warm reception. Checkin was swift. After I noticed my room was facing the passageway, I requested for a room change with no questions asked. 👍 Location is central 🍜🍔🍧🛍️🛒 with everything!!! Too rush for breakfast, can ask for container to do take-outs. Enjoy the local delights spread with some international mix. If you need to rush during peak hours, it is advisable to arrange through the conceige in advance. Hail a cab is challenging (even at the hotel lobby). Otherwise, train is a good option. Staffs are often super helpful and sincere. During my checkout, luggage was misplaced but quickly recovered. Thank you Ms Lee for patiently assuring me while a team is sent out to recover my luggages.

My room was very spacious with a nice king-size bed and lots of pillows. Room was clean and modern. My only negative comment is the lounge bar: the bar staff did not come around to take orders. We always had to go find someone to place an order with. Breakfast buffet was very good with western and local options.

Pros- quiet area, no traffic or noise. Metro 100 metres away, supermarket 2mins. Very good breakfast buffet. Spacious room (4th floor) with balcony and excellent bathroom facilities. Cleaning lady was always cheerful and obliging- they often do a superb job without recognition. Cons- staff at reception and dining area have difficulty smiling- unlike the cleaning lady. Cannot sit in a lounge area near the bar without ordering a drink (it was never crowded). Coffee machine in dining area produces only lukewarm coffee. nearby restaurants at least 1 km away, although in the nearby supermarket there is a food hall of sorts. However, would certainly stay again.
