Novotel Nantes Centre Gare

Great location, only 10 minutes walk into the old town. Car park is directly beneath. Breakfast was really good. Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The only negative is the photo you’re about to see. I told the staff on check out and they said they would get it fixed immediately. But how the room staff didn’t see this was beyond me. It’s obviously been there for a long time.

This hotel needs a revamp because it is terrible! Very old hotel- i think old is fine, but the necessities in the room were bad. Fridge is dirty, not cold Air conditioner does not work - it was summer and my partner and I woke up several times through the night as it was way too hot Toilet bowl stinks like ammonia, disgusting! - not cleaned properly I suspect No laundry service! As "there are too much demand" and "They do not work on the weekends" !? What ?? Oh my goodness, I could not wait to get out of the hotel. For an allegedly "4- star" hotel, this was a terrible terrible choice. I think 2 star at best. The only good things about this hotel was the staff - very friendly, and its location - right next to the conference centre. If you have a conference, fair to stay here. Otherwise, I advise stay out! You've been warned.

The condition of this hotel is a bit good. In a suite, the central heating system is not working and little portable electric heater is provided. TV are not functioning properly, bathroom door not closing, cleanliness of the carpet questionable... Etc Hotel designed is very old with dark low ceilings. Overall condition is not good with effort on the maintenance. Hotel to avoid.
