Stayed here July 2025. Basic room, good location, the direct area has more to offer than initially expected. The metro is close enough for easy transport to the city centre. Special shout out to Kevin, the host at breakfast. He understands his job very well. My compliments, Kevin!

Very bad experience — no AC, unsafe for families! Stayed here June 21-24, 2025 (Gold member). The entire hotel had no air conditioning during a heatwave — and my young son started nose bleeding due to the heat in the room. No Duty Manager present, no solution offered. The front desk staff didn’t care — they continued to check in guests knowing the problem. No response from hotel management. This is completely unacceptable and unsafe, especially for families. I would strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel — no basic services, no responsibility.

Checked in to hotel on day that was around 33 / 34 degrees outside. Thought it was a bit warm in reception but it was only when we went into the lift that we saw a notice informing us that the air conditioning for the whole hotel was broken. Staff on reception (who were disinterested and unhelpful) did not mention this when we checked in. Room was incredibly hot and the fans just increased the temperature. Managed to get them to open the window but made little difference and the noise from the dual carriageway road immediately beneath us was deafening. Decided not to stay the night and asked for a refund. Staff on reception said they didn't have the power to do this and we would have to email Novotel. Asked to see manager but no one was available. Really, really bad. That hotel should not be operating in this weather and charging customers premium prices for a service that a 1 star hotel could provide at a fraction of the cost.
