I recently stayed at the Novotel Paris Orly and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The most pressing issue was a persistent water leakage in the bathroom. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was surprised and frustrated to be informed that "many rooms are experiencing this issue" and that a room change was not possible. This is a significant maintenance problem that negatively impacted my comfort. On top of that, the breakfast offered very little in terms of variety. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected a much more diverse selection. These issues really detracted from my stay. Don't book until they fix their water leakages and ask before you book.
We arrived a little late in the evening, got to the hotel, pretty close to the airport which is a plus. After a little wait we get our key, we go up to the room, open the door and in our room a guy is sleeping on the couch.. we go back down to the reception and the person working the desk couldn't fathom who it was. The hotel was of course completely booked so he wasn't sure what to do, after some more waiting he managed to find a room, not the same type but somewhere the 3 of us could sleep. We go up to the room and the key doesn't work, we go back down, get a new key that also doesn't work. The receptionist decides to come with us and try his master key, that doesn't work, so after a bit of faffing he managed to open the door with a normal key, opens the door, and finds more people sleeping in that room... All credit to the guy working the reception, he tried his best but somebody that had worked before him had done a bad job. After alot more waiting they managed to find a third room that was luckily empty and we could get some sleep, but this kinda messed up the whole next day since we got to bed late and after a day of manoeuvring airports we were tired. As I said earlie, all credit to the guy working the reception, he did the best he could with what he had, but can't really recommend this hotel based on our experience
Worst experience ever in this level of hotels. They start with lies and don't tell you before booking that you need to pay 50€ per person per night, deposit. They do not tell you that parking costs 10€ per night They do not tell you about city tax 65€ per 4 nights The staff on the reception super-extra not friendly WiFi, if it's working, it's super slow and always disconnecting What they call a family suite is not even to what you see in the pictures Not worth a 1¢ !!! They stuck in the year 2000 !!!
