Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa

We had a wonderful family stay at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and truly thoughtful. The facilities were excellent – everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday was right there. What made our experience especially memorable was the genuine care shown by the staff. In particular, Wit went above and beyond to help when my son had a minor wound. Over the course of three days, Wit personally assisted in patching it up and making sure he was comfortable. The attention, kindness, and professionalism really stood out and made us feel very well looked after. It's this level of service that makes a stay not only enjoyable but also unforgettable. We truly appreciate the team's efforts and will definitely recommend this resort to family and friends visiting Phuket. We look forward to coming back again.

We just checked in at Novotel Kata with our 3-year-old and couldn’t be happier so far. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into catering to families, which we really appreciate. Breakfast was delicious, the room is spacious and comfortable, and they even arranged an early check-in for us — such a nice touch after traveling. A special shout out to the front desk manager, Bow, and her team for their outstanding hospitality.

We booked a family room with a double bed and a queen-sized bed for the kids. The room was spacious and clean, though the amenities were quite basic. Unfortunately, our balcony faced an empty land area, which was less appealing. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of high-quality options to choose from. The staff were incredibly polite and always ready to help, making our stay feel very welcoming. The pool area is smaller than expected compared to the pictures, and you need to secure your spot early as it fills up quickly. The kids’ pool is well suited for younger children. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away, with a convenient shuttle service available. Nearby, you’ll find several restaurants, a night food market, a 7-Eleven, and a pharmacy—all within walking distance. Just note that the walk back to the hotel is slightly uphill, as the property is located a bit higher up. The kids’ club is small but perfect for younger kids. Overall, it’s a clean and comfortable hotel with excellent service, ideal for families with younger children.
