Novotel Phuket Resort

Best hotel service among all!!! We spent 3 nights in a family room 406 which has a king bed and bunk bed on June last week and my twins already request me to book our next trip back to Novotel Phuket Resort, see kids don't lie! From the moment we arrived lobby porter crews Baw and Choo welcome us with a big warm smile and help us with our luggages, check in was smooth by front desk pretty young lady named Keng, too bad she didn't smile. The hotel is on the hilltop with stunning ocean view and the 3 tier pool kids just loved it. Breakfast spread was ok, Glory was very nice and helpful taking care of my twins, My twins loved the pool, there's basketball and volleyball but volleyball should have replace a new one as it's broken. Love the Herring bar 3pm-5pm happy hour, handsome bartender Bell made me delicious cocktail especially Margarita,, hopefully happy hour can extend to at least 6pm, btw, pool close quite early at 7pm I think 8pm is just nice. Would be lovely if Live music available in the evening, Hotel provides shuttle hourly to Jungceylon but each time only can carry 10 passengers however lunch and dinner hours no shuttle available. I think shuttle should run every 30 mins since it only carry 10 pax per trip. Lastly I would like to thank housekeeper Lah whom make sure our room clean each day so we can comfortably enjoy our cooling room after a long day out. In short we had a great experience and we'll see u on coming October as my twins requested

The hotel is nice, but low value of money. You don’t feel like it worth that much. Perhaps it was season. I canceled and tried other better hotel for less money. I also has couple of interaction with reception they weren’t unprofessional to say the least. That been said again the hotel is nice and location is good , the room are spacious, and pool is good.

I believe the hotel check-in policy should be reconsidered. When I arrived at 11:30 AM, I was told I had to wait until 3:00 PM to access my room, due to the hotel’s standard check-in rules. After a 14-hour flight with tired kids, this was very frustrating. I tried to explain my situation, but Mrs. Molly at the reception desk strictly followed the procedure without offering any flexibility. While she was systematic and professional, a bit more understanding would have been appreciated. On a positive note, Mr. Frankie truly stood out. He was incredibly helpful and friendly, and we saw him at the restaurant, pool, and reception. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable—he's a real asset to the hotel team. The hotel is located a bit far from Patong Beach, but overall, it’s a great place to stay and worth considering. Thank you
