Novotel Recife Marina

The stay was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The showers and restroom were clean and maintained. The air conditioning was always set properly. Breakfast had plentiful options. My only suggestion is that complimentary water bottles are offered. In addition, the beds were personally too stiff for my liking. Overall good stay with good amenities.

We had a good stay. However, house keeping was no good. We had 2 days of no service and had to continue to ask every day to reassure our room would be clean. They also didn't take our laundry when we first left it out, even after using the front desk for assistance. When they finally took it, it was to late and we spent all night calling the front desk to get it back, even though it was dirty still but we were leaving the next day. The breakfast buffet is nice but the exact same every single day and no other food options around the hotel to eat elsewhere within walking distance. Perfect location for carnaval. Nice room. Nice view although the wind creates this loud noise in the door so we had to leave our door slightly open the whole time. Lastly, they don't emreplace the one free bottle of water they give you in the room when you first arrive which is not normal in my opinion, especially when not having and water refill stations.

Called room service and reception hotline from the room. Out of 20 calls, only 1 was picked up. No complimentary drinking water, lack of amenities. Laundry services is not available in the weekend. Breakfast spread has limited selection of food, and is the same thruout 3 nights of stay. Room is clean, modern design and has great view of the marina.
