Novotel Rio de Janeiro Parque Olímpico

The room needs some renovations and mainly a better maintenance. The garage should be available for selfparking. But the service is great with a very courteous staff. From the reception to the waiters, everyone is doing their best to make you feel welcomed.

For the second time in less than a year, I have problem during a staying at a Novotel Brand Hotel. The good: Good spot in front a Mall, good oom and bed. The service made by Lucas at Front Desk during night and Bina to clean my room after they skip during the days was great. The bad: The service in general was no good. Has no empathy. I have a problem with the schedule, they passed ask fro a extension, I agree and 10 minutes late they ask for the room and press me to leave real quick The breakfast not good to, I ate better before in a Ibis Hotel in NE. The Internet in room 111 is very bad. When I arrive the safe was destroyed, and the remote control has no cap. The Sauna is closed. The Upgrade that I had a possibility for my category in ALL programs was not made.

It was the worst experience in Accor group hotels I got. The room picture on the site is misleading so I was shocked and frustrated when arrived. The Executive room is super small, old and smells of dampness. Such basic things as a vanity kit are not available. You need to ask all the questions yourself as the guy on reception will tell you nothing about check-out time or hotel facilities. Personnel mostly cannot speak English so there will be nobody in restaurant to answer basic questions like if they have green tea. The only good thing was communication with the manager, she was really nice.
