We had a comfortable stay here. The rooms are spacious, with big windows and great views over the city from the upper floors. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, mostly Asian-style dishes, which we enjoyed, though Western choices were limited. It’s also very convenient to have some small shops and even an ALDI right downstairs. Unfortunately, the indoor pool—one of the reasons we chose this hotel—was closed for chemical maintenance the exact hour we planned to use it (and it was our only opportunity). It felt like poor timing and bad luck. Overall, a good hotel, but double-check pool availability if that’s important to you.

Rooms are big spacious with clean big toilets. And toilet is remote controlled which is the fun part. Shower area is good and fully equipped. We stayed in 34th floor so it was very quiet and view was good. Bad part is they don’t have any room service and in room dining service. No bell boys. Breakfast restaurant is in top floor and rotating. Though breakfast buffet is average, both in terms of quality and taste. Staff are very rude and noisy. They stopped refilling one hour prior to closing time.

Definitely not 5/5. When I arrived, I was told check-in was closed. Upon entrance to my room, housekeeping rudely barged into my room. My "free drinks voucher" the staff assumed was only for water. When you turn the lights out, the power does not charge any devices (flat everything 🙁). The restaurant lets you find your own seat. The room next door was under construction, so during my day nap, there was a lot of noise. The hotel lobby is a random desk and chairs on the 5th floor. The staff are very nice, but the overall experience is very poor for Novotel. Rooms are quality, and service is ok, but not what I paid for. I booked a stunning Hotel Atlantis with 5/5 service and rooms. And don't start me on the mall next door, it's a few shops and everything is opening soon.
