cannot thank this hotel enough for their incredible support today. I had an unexpected emergency, and the staff immediately stepped in to help without any hesitation or complications. Their kindness and professionalism were simply outstanding. The food was absolutely exquisite—every dish was prepared to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen team takes great pride in their work. What stood out the most was the genuinely warm and friendly attitude of every single staff member I encountered. From reception to the restaurant, I felt truly cared for and welcomed. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, fantastic food, and a place where hospitality is truly alive.
Felt a bit deceived by this hotel. It is very old, dated and dirty. Bedsheets smelt bad, hairdryer smelt bad, carpet has stains, even the hallway had rubbish. The room did not have a proper table even though the website showed a picture with a table in the room when I booked it. We came here for work so a table in the room was very important. When I told the staff, they felt sorry but couldn't do anything because the hotel was full. Perhaps be honest and put the correct photos of the room on your website ? I will never come back here.
We booked the hotel because in general we are quite satisfied with the standard of service that is offered in other Novotel hotels. However it was a shock what we had offered. We booked a family room that looked nothing like pictures on their website. The carpet was literally filthy, the river view was actually a view of the flat roof of the building, the bed was squeaky, the baby cot had like a cardboard mattress covered with a bedsheet (the staff said they are not allowed to put like real mattresses in those), the room was smelly. We requested to change the room even if we have to pay for that. At the reception they said that we booked the last room and since it was a last minute booking they could not do anything. At least we got our deposit back and then left to another hotel of the Accor chain. But the experience itself left us very disappointed about the double standards of the brand. The staff was helpful as much as possible considering the situation. It is the condition of the hotel that was disappointing.
