Novotel Suites Manila At Acqua

We stayed for one night (36 hrs total), and we loved it. Great buffet breakfast and restaurant for lunch and dinner. Great value if you are an Accor Member!!! The pool was perfect for cooling down after a hot day out. Staff was very friendly. Room is small for a family of 4, however, would be perfect for a couple. We still managed to stay in a King Bed room with an additional temp. single bed for one night (2 adults, 2 children).

Upscale hotel with modern rooms. I had a one-bedroom suite overlooking the river, a nice view compared to most hotels around Makati. Room was spacious and well appointed, being a good value for the size. Front-desk, housekeeping, room service and dining staff were all friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was good, but not spectacular. Free parking was nice. Biggest problem is that there is nothing immediately around the hotel. If you need to buy anything or just go for a stroll, the hotel is isolated from everything. It is harder to get a Grab/taxi and they sometimes get lost finding the hotel. In the room hot water was a problem. Even when it did get hot, the water took minutes to warm up, wasting so many gallons. And probably just a one-off problem, my first room had water seeping up from the floor. Looks like the building has weather sealing issues, given the amount of putty around the windows.

My husband and I stayed here overnight a few weeks ago. It was accessible and easy to drive to. Staff was accommodating and hospitable, and helpful. The rooms were pleasant but could probably benefit from a deeper cleaning especially in the bathroom/shower area. Bed was heavenly to sleep in. The pool was okay but we noticed some tiles chipping off and where the infinity pool's water should overflow is quite dirty and needs regular cleaning. Some visitors also had the gall to throw their trash there, which is gross and so uncivilized. Anyway, the restaurant food was not spectacular but it was good enough.
