Novotel Suites Paris Montreuil Vincennes

We had great time in the hotel. The staff was very helpful. Although I have beginner French, they were always ready to help. The breakfasts were great and had good variety. The room was well organized and quite clean but the carpets require slippers to walk on. I requested slippers but they were not available. So bring your own slippers to the room. There is an open market on weekends near the hotel which cause too much dirt on the streets. It is also worth noting that the hotel is a bit far from centre of the town. However the metro station “Porte Du Montreuil” is only 5 minutes walking distance. So it makes it up.

The area is very bad. They have a market on the weekend, and when they leave, the whole area is full of garbage. The whole area around the hotel has garbage everywhere. We didn't feel safe to walk around the area. It's a run-down hotel. The service is not very friendly. I bought a cappuccino one day for one price and when I went the next day the lady told me it was a different price. Then she asked me for my room number,like she thought I was lying about .70 cents. Seems like they don't have set price.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone else. In our experience, they provided us the fake email address for the manager, asked us to speak with manager as the front-desk has no authority to make any decision about refund and take no accountability of their words. Make sure you are making sure everything before leaving from there. They tend to f00l people saying that we will take care of this or that but they may not. Area is bit sketchy outside, the rooms were fair/good & staff is not so great and dis honest.
