Fantastic Stay – Great Location & Service! I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour. The hotel is in a perfect location—just a few minutes’ walk to the Convention Centre and right near the vibrant Darling Harbour area. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of fresh options, and the coffee was excellent—a great way to start the day. The foyer and bar area are stylish and welcoming, with a great atmosphere to relax or catch up with friends. What stood out most was the friendly and professional customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was helpful, warm, and made me feel welcome. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays. I’ll definitely be back!
An overall good experience. We went the long way on arrival as there were no instructions of how to locate the hotel with all the works going on. It was a good room (paid for darling harbour view). Nice but a lot of the view was a concrete block of the new construction going up directly in front. Going forward I'm not sure if there will be much of a view. Great breakfast on day one. Day two was busy and we were taken to a back conference room. The man in charge said he'd be sitting people in there but he placed everyone in the main area before and after us. When I asked to move he said we'd have to wait. Not a nice experience. Housekeeping did not attend and we had to call.
Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour is in a great position, with a light rail very close and walking distance to the city and Darling Harbour. Reception were busy, but the wait was minimal and they had a room ready for me in the afternoon. The room, I was disappointed with. The bathroom grout was dirty and cracked tiles, I am thinking maybe my room is due to be renovated?? But certainly needed work. The beds, chairs and table were comfortable. Lifts were always available, even though it was a busy weekend. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Nice and fresh, I was pleasantly surprised how big the spread of options were. Even though the bathroom wasn't great, I would recommend as it is in a fabulous position.
