The room is clean and has a homely feel,the pillows and bed sheet are very clean and the mattress is very comfortable. The location is right at the city centre, hawkers centre and many eateries are within short walking distance. The Taiping beautiful parks and lake is next to the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and their hospitality is very sincere. The room rate is affordable and is recommended for family staycation or short retreat .
The room was modern, clean and sound proofed. We had a good rest. Free parking. The price we paid was the same as a AC Marriot Hotel.The other hotel had the upper hand as it included breakfast but this one does not. In terms of scale and service it falls slightly behind the other hotel but we still find it acceptable for us and we will consider to stay here again next time. It was a hassle free check in and check out. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also prepared welcome drink (self service) for all check in guests.
Overall the rooms were nice and the start was enjoyable. However the hotel walls seem to be thin enough for us to hear the people's voices from the other neighboring room. While the options for the hotel breakfast can improve as it seems very limited & pricey if we take add of the hotel breakfast in each day. (Which is said to be RM50 per day) The validation of the hotel parking seems to be very inconvenient as well as we have to back to the hotel lobby each time to validate it as the hotel room are on level 9 & above parking is on level 6. Seems very counter intuitive. It would be good to have the validation option on level 6 itself. And finally, not a major deal, but hotel should provide the receipt on the same or next day for the Perak gov tourist tax we are paying. Not on the last day when we are leaving. As what I experienced, the staff was unable to print it for me & I had to wait at least 20 mins for her to tell me to wait longer it receive it in the email. I took the email option which I was okay with, but would have preferred to have the option earlier rather than wait as I need to go elsewhere. I don't blame the staff, but kindly improve your systems so that we don't have to wait for the staff to combine the receipts before they print. Overall the room was fine & comfortable. Just the above few things that can improve.
