Novotel Viña del Mar

We had a great experience! Staff was exceptional, we got our passports stolen and without asking they printed out copies they had from our check in for us. Breakfast was good and had a nice outside eating area. We got in really late our first night and enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. Free parking was also a plus!

The rooms were really nice with a great distribution of space. The location was also good, near restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet could be a bit better...

Arrived Chile 07/27/25 late after traveling all day, made it to Novotel after 10pm and looking to rest, only to be told the water heater was broken and it is winter. They made arrangements to send me to Pullman and while they were efficient about getting us rooms over there, we were told we had to arrange our own transport to Pullman. I would have appreciated been told in advance and avoid the trip to Novotel at 10pm. Stayed at Pullman and came back to Novotel Aug4 after one week as the Pullman had no more availability. Once in the room I noticed I started getting itchy and it smelled humid. Called room service, it took several minutes and multiple calls before they answered. When I tried to fluff the pillows and the bed, lots of debris just flew out. I’m allergic to dust -it was the dust collected on the bedsheets and pillows making me itchy. I tried turning on the AC one day, it didn’t work, asked a housekeeper she said she would send someone - no one came. The AC in my colleague’s room didn’t work either. The day I was leaving I asked them to send someone to help me with the bags, they said they don’t have bell service available. The positives: It is a nice looking hotel, in a good location. They have a sauna and it works. The restaurant upstairs serves good food. The staff is polite. Unfortunately the negatives out-weight the positives for me and I won’t be staying here again.
