I stayed one night for work and was very impressed. It was very clean, the room with two double beds was very spacious. It had a desk and great storage. It had GREAT lighting in the bathroom for doing makeup. The shower was over bath which isn't my preference but it had a good pressure. The bed was a bit too soft for my preference but comfortable. Good pillow options, nice lighting options in the room and black out curtains and no annoying light on switches. It's a very good location in central town.
I have an idea, instead of growing your own potatoes & beans, harvesting them, then finding a cow to slice a piece of steak off and cook, maybe you could have all the food items and ingredients on site, that way I wouldn’t have to wait an hour and a half for my room service dinner, follow up and wait another half an hour, if you could also stock wine so you don’t have to stomp on grapes that would also be beneficial as the wine turned up 15mins after the meal. Location and amenities are great but service and rooms are inconsistent making the Novotel an average hotel
My experience at the hotel was disappointing and did not match the premium price point. The room was dusty and had a persistent unpleasant odor, making our stay uncomfortable. Most concerning was that we experienced bed bug bites, which raises serious concerns about the hotel's hygiene and pest control. Room service was extremely slow, taking over 30 minutes to respond to a simple request. Despite the hotel’s convenient location, it failed to meet basic expectations in several key areas. Parking was frustrating due to limited space and a lack of support from staff. Additionally, for such an expensive hotel, it was surprising that only basic Sky TV was available—guests would reasonably expect access to streaming services like Netflix or similar entertainment options in this price range.
