Novetel Hotel Zhengzhou is located in the Central business District of Zhengzhou. Set in a beautiful space, friendly hotel staff although you might to download the Translation app to be able to communicate effectively. The room was big, beautifula with a great view of the city. The breakfast was great too but not included in the room cost. Most TV channels are in Chinese except for BBC. You can rent movies though from the comfort of your bed. It was a great stay.
The rooms are very dated. There is no air conditioning and the room was 32°C in October. The bathroom had dried vomit on the wall and the shower was broken. The attendents were nice enough to change our room.
Staff laying photocopy of guest ID on the desk. Do they understand the importance of keeping confidential information of guest ID? The main control of light switches was not working properly. The USB charger was not working. There were holes of bedding sheet. There is glass window between bathroom and bedroom. If you keep bathroom light on ( I always do when staying in unfamiliar places), it keeps the bedroom under the lights from the side of bathroom curtain. No good to try to get good sleep!
