First impression? The architecture of the building—superb! From the lobby all the way to the room, everything is beautifully designed. The staff are excellent—friendly, proactive, and very helpful. It’s perfect for a family stay, and definitely kid-friendly. Before we left, we were pleasantly surprised when the staff gave us a sweet little snack pack—such a thoughtful gesture! Overall, it’s well worth the price. Highly recommended if you’re planning to stay around Puncak.

I was truly surprised that this hotel is so nice—clean, lush, cool, and calming. The room was also spacious, clean, and fragrant 😍. All the staff members were friendly and greeted us whenever we met. The food served was varied, and they even had traditional herbal drinks (jamu). There’s also a play area for children. We were very happy staying here. I also want to thank Miss Vanya, who always asked about any discomfort I felt, which made me feel comfortable staying here ❤️

Novus Giri Hotel & Spa offers a peaceful retreat in the hills of Cianjur, located slightly downhill from the more popular Puncak Pass area. While it may not be as close to the main Puncak attractions as some travelers expect, the surrounding scenery still provides a refreshing, cool-climate experience. The hotel’s rooms are cozy and comfortable, with a warm, relaxing ambiance. However, some elements of the rooms could use upgrading or maintenance to match the expectations of a 4-star resort. Cleanliness is acceptable, and the bed is decent for a good night’s rest, but the interior feels a bit dated. Breakfast is included and offers a decent variety. The food tastes good overall, though there’s nothing particularly memorable or standout about the selection. It’s sufficient to start the day, but don’t expect anything gourmet. Service is generally friendly, though the speed could be improved, particularly during check-in, room requests, or breakfast service hours. Staff members are helpful, but response time tends to lag, especially during peak periods. Novus Giri shines best as a family-friendly destination. The on-site facilities such as the pool, children’s play area, and spacious grounds make it ideal for families with young children looking to relax away from the city. However, for couples seeking a romantic or quiet getaway, it may feel a bit too busy or family-oriented.
