Nox Hotels Lancaster Gate

+ amazing staff, super helpful and friendly!! (you could reach them even at night on WhatsApp) + you could leave you luggage there for a day + centre of Paddington, close to Untergrund, but you're also everywhere really fast by foot or bike (recommend lime app) + easy check in/ out + pretty interior + fridge, microwaive and coffee machine - fan not working - hairs in bed - weird smell from fridge (All in all: would still recommend to stay there)

We were very disappointed with our stay at NOX Lancaster. We arrived in the middle of the night after much travel, making it difficult to leave and find new accommodations for 3 adults elsewhere. Had it been daytime, we would have left immediately. The common hallways can certainly use with some freshening up, but it was our room that was terrible. There were stains on the walls, ceiling mold and the bathroom was not clean. We couldn't even flush the toilet without removing the wall pate (which by the way was not even attached to the wall so we were not the first ones to do this). When I spoke with the person at the reception during daytime, they said they were sorry we were unhappy but did not offer any solutions. I would never, ever stay here again. We would be happy with simple accommodations and no amenities but the place needs to at least be clean and in working order. NOX Lancaster Gate did not meet this minimum expectation.

Disappointed, peeling ceilings in the bathroom, 2 channels on the TV, shower door didn’t shut properly, rotten bathroom door didn’t shut, very uneven floor, a desk must have been removed from the wall but silicone work still on the wall. Very noisy. Great location and service, very friendly staff, awful room for £180 a night
