Park staff are happy and go out to their way to help/make you feel welcome. The activities for the kids were both fantastic and fairly priced OR FREE!!! We had an awesome time despite the cold and the wind. Majority of campers respectful. Definitely on the list for the future.
Large and spacious area for caravans. Half of the area for caravans/tents has been renovated and looks great! We were lucky to have one of these spots. The pools were great! We went to the North pool, nice and deep for the adults. Also lots of birds, if you dont like loud birds (cockatoos) in the morning around 7am then probably not the best for some. Great if you need an alarm clock. The beach is right there, with a life saving section close by. One sad issue though. Amenities block 2 hot water is a bit disappointing. Nice and hot for exactly 5mins and then starts to go cooler to just barely warm and stays that way. Doesn't matter if it was morning or night time, the total of 4 showers I had and hubby had 2 both of us had the same result. 5min hot showers then goes cooler. Water timer? Not a nice experience.
Beautiful location, lots of fun for the kids, very peaceful and abundance of wildlife. Rooms were comfortable and cosy except for the graffiti on the bunk slats. Unfortunately there is no safety rail or non-slip tiles in the shower and my elderly father slipped and lost his balance falling heavily. The pools were great but too cold to swim and Unfortunately the spa's were not heated which was disappointing because I was really looking forward to that. Would recommend and would stay again.
