NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort

Another quick visit last weekend with my daughter and grandkids. We normally visit on Halloween weekend as my granddaughter loves the parade that Treasure Island put on but we had a free weekend and thought why not! Kids club was wonderful and entertaining as usual. My daughter and I enjoyed a cocktail on the deck while watching the kids. My grandson is intellectually disabled and the staff are wonderful with him. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always quick to offer a smile. This is the best park for kids and also parents as they can relax knowing the whole family is catered for. Oh and they had the Footy on the big screen on the park and there is always plenty of seating available or you can throw a blanket down on the grass! Looking forward to our next stay in October for all the spooky fun!

We only stayed the night, but it is a great place to stay with the family with lots of activities for the kids and close to a lot of stores and takeaway places so it’s a very convenient location. We had an issue that was caused by our little one and the issue was fixed straight away by their maintenance person who was very polite and friendly and the staff at reception were great. They have a bistro there, so we had some Breakfast whilst the kids played nearby which was great and very convenient. If you are parent and want to have a bite to eat or drink whilst the kids play, this is perfect. 10/10 - we will be back. The only thing I will say and this has nothing to do with the park, is you really need to be extra careful when driving inside the park, the amount of children riding their bikes and scooters with no protective gear on and no parent supervision is insane, on a few occasions kids would come screaming around on their bikes and nearly hitting us whilst driving out and these kids were under 5 or 10, again, Nothing on the park but just something to be mindful off when you visit.

Some staff were obnoxious! 13 of us in 3 cabins and there were no blankets only sheets and cover duvet. Went to grab blankets from the kiosk and the staff were rude.....we don't need that! We just asked kindly! Then the spa wasn't hot and the light kept going out. Plus the spa was supposed to close at 9pm. We went there at 8pm and was closed Not a good experience. On the plus side.....the pool was top notch as well as the BBQ area! The movie theater and mini golf entertaining as! .bouncy pillow and coloring and games ect were just the right fit!
