Ntouana hotel

This place is special. Ntouana is a hotel run by several girls who take care of the guest at 360 degrees, making them feel at home. The cleaning of the rooms is excellent, every morning the room is cleaned thoroughly, complete with folded pajamas placed next to the pillow. The mattress and the two pillows made available are very comfortable, or, at least, I liked them (a good compromise between soft and compact). The breakfast is not huge, but everything on the menu is freshly prepared with genuine ingredients. The hotel also offers a massage as an additional service, the one I received relaxed me so much and it was much appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel to all those who want to spend a holiday in Kalamata being at the same time close to the sea area and near the city center / old town

Summary: A decent hotel but certainly not 4-star. Pros: The breakfast was extensive and of a high quality in a cute courtyard. The Rooms, although in a very old style were clean. The two ladies working there were very friendly. Location is 2 minute walk from the seafront with restaurants and bars galore! Price was reasonable for high-season. Cons: Poor quality of amenities inside the room. For example, the shower head did not stay up on the wall and our Air conditioning was temperamental. Check in wasn’t easy as we were told we had to check in before a certain time as the reception would be closed after 3pm, even though online, it was writing that check in is from 2pm-10pm.

This is NOT a 4****Hotel by any means. The building is badly in need of renovation. Our room was dingy and dirty. The duvet on the bed was lacking it's cover and I dread to think how many other people had slept under this. We threw it off the bed. The bathroom was dirty with a rotting window which didnt open, cracked tiles on the wall and the drain in the shower was disgusting. The base of the sink unit was rusty and the shower head didn't work properly. At €95 for the night we expected something much better. A real disappointment. What was advertised is not what you get in reality. No coffee making machine, no room service, no Reception the list goes on....... check out the bathroom photos
