Nice hotel. The installations were pretty clean and solid, although a bit pricey, and it's not in the center, so you're around 30 mins away to the center by public transport. I recommend it though, good option for staying in Amsterdam
Great place. Clean rooms and fairly peaceful. The only negative is that it is a little bit far from the centre so had to spend plenty on uber. You can probably bike or get a tram somewhere but I couldn't be bothered with all the faffing around. However would definitely stay here again. Everything was just so easy.
Frustrating Stay with Poor Follow-Through Our experience with Numa in Amsterdam was far more stressful than it should have been — especially for a family traveling internationally with two young children. We arrived early in the morning after a long flight, expecting a smooth process (especially since we paid extra for early check-in). Instead, we waited outside the property for over two hours with no room codes or clear guidance. Communication was slow and confusing, and only after repeated follow-ups did we learn that our reserved room wasn’t even available. The solution offered was to split us into two separate units for the first night — meaning my wife and I each had to sleep in separate rooms with a child. That created a difficult night for everyone. The next morning, we were told to pack up and leave both rooms by 11am and wait until 3pm for the original room — only to later be told the new room was ready earlier. That information came too late, and we had already changed our plans and left with all our bags. While the team apologized and offered compensation (a 20% refund on one night, €20 for early check-in, and a 25% future stay voucher), none of these were actually delivered without me repeatedly chasing them. Even a few weeks later, I had to audit the refund myself — only to discover that it was incomplete and that the early check-in fee was still not refunded. The voucher was supposedly sent via email but never arrived until I followed up again. The most disappointing part wasn’t just the chaos during the stay — it was the broken promises afterward and the burden placed on me to track their commitments and repeatedly follow up. No one proactively owned the issue, and I’ve never had to work so hard to recover what I was told I’d receive. While the staff was polite and some gestures were appreciated (like free snacks), the overall experience was disorganized, frustrating, and fell well below expectations. Would I stay again? Maybe — but only if they can prove they’ve fixed their internal communication and
