We booked one room for four people with a kitchen to spend the weekend together. However, on the day of check-in, we received an email informing us that our room was no longer available. We were offered two separate rooms for two people each or the option to cancel the reservation. At that point, we were already on our way to Berlin, so this put us in a very uncomfortable and stressful situation. We replied to the email, but no one responded. If you're going to send important updates via email, what’s the point of asking for a phone number? In the end, we had to contact customer service through WhatsApp, and it took nearly five hours for them to resolve the issue. Eventually, we were given two separate rooms without a kitchen, and the access codes weren’t sent to us until 6:30 PM—even though check-in was at 3:30 PM. Throughout the entire process, we felt completely uninformed and unsupported. We’ve booked other Numa locations in the past, as we visit Berlin regularly, and we've never had issues like this before. This experience was particularly disappointing given our previous positive stays. While the rooms themselves were nice and we didn’t experience any further issues during our stay, I won’t be booking at this location again. I’d rather pay more and stay somewhere else to avoid this kind of stress.

Housekeeping kept getting into my room without any knocking multiple times throughout the stay even though the cleaning or maintenance of the room is not included during the stay and they kept getting into the room before check out time, which was super frustrating. And there were no extra locks on the door. Only way someone can get in is using a code so I completely didn’t feel safe staying in this hotel knowing that at any point anyone can come into my room without knocking or any announcement. Another thing is that there is no staff at the reception. All the communication happens through a virtual assistant and communication is super slow. The public toilet on the first floor requires a code that is nowhere to be found and staff over the phone would refuse to give me the code even though its very clearly a toilet made for hotel guests. For your information the code is 4312. Overall, even though the bed was comfortable i wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone. I felt unsafe there and communication with staff sucked!

Disappointing Experience – Poor Issue Handling Stayed for 6 nights and had major issues from the start. The shower only had scalding hot water and was unusable for the entire stay. Staff couldn’t fix it, and while they offered a room change, it wasn’t practical mid-stay. I had to use the bathtub instead. Later, hotel staff entered the room without proper notice to replace furniture while I was out—something I only found out afterward. This felt intrusive and unprofessional. The hotel offered just a 15% refund for one night, which didn’t reflect the ongoing inconvenience or lack of privacy. Overall, not worth the price and disappointing guest service. I won’t be returning.
