numa I Arc Rooms and Apartments

I stayed at Numa Arc for a week and had a great experience! The central location is great - just about 100 meters from the metro, which connects you to all parts of Berlin east or west in around 20 minutes. The area is pretty quiet, and even when my room faced the street, the occasional police siren wasn’t a big deal - the fact that there's a police station infront actually makes the hotel feel even safer. The hotel has a beautiful old wooden staircase (and elevators of course) and the beautiful historic facade give it a lot of character. My room was very clean and nicely designed, with strong AC you can control and the option to open a window. The shower had good pressure and hot water, and the small fridge (they have one in every room) was very handy - especially with a Lidl supermarket just 3 minutes away. The beds mattress was super comfortable! The fact that the check-in is automated and that there's no reception gives a nice sense of privacy like you are in a small apartment. When I had a small issue, the Numa team responded quickly by email and even stayed with me on the phone until it was sorted. I also got a welcome drink and dessert, plus a couple of free drinks in the fridge - a nice touch! Highly recommended if you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-connected central place to stay in Berlin.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations! The hotel and parking garage were easy to find. All the instructions for check-in and the access code were clearly provided. The hotel room was modern, clean and had all the facilities you need (free coffee, tea and water, a hairdryer, small kitchen, free soap). You can also grab extra towels and other essentials from the laundry room. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located - just a few minutes from Checkpoint Charlie, and the rest of the city center is also within walking distance. The only downside was that the hotel room was quite warm and there was no air conditioning (though you could open the window). This was the most modern hotel at an affordable price, centrally located in Berlin, that I could find. Highly recommended!

First let me say during your stay you will never see the face of a human being. So expect everything to be digital and all communications through WhatsApp only which they do a great job at. After checking in to my room, and the whole hallway was filled with smoking smell and loud drilling noise. I was extremely disappointed immediately that why would they assign me to that area of the building. after complaining through WhatsApp someone was able to assist me to go to a new room in a better side of the building however by then I had lost half an hour of my limited time by packing again, moving to new room, and sadly missing my train. the new room was very clean and quiet. However this time at the second night of my stay a strong smell of smoking weed filled the room, which I think was coming from the vent in WC. I assume the next door was smoking. To sum up, If you're renting this place thinking it will be like a hotel, you will be proven wrong. As a Pansion it is as good as it can get. Also for people who are tech savvy and prefer to see a human face, this may be not for you. At the same time if you want to lower price than the hotel, and don't mind having all types of unusual neighbours in the building, then you will be fine. The rooms are clean. I can only share my experience. If they had assigned me to a good room in first place, and there weren't any smoking weed people in next door rooms I would probably give a 5 star!
