Numa Munich Munico

Well if You are looking for comfortamble clean all furnished rooms to stay and live in Munich for so long as months or even years....THIS is the place to be. It's room are pricly differencing concerning the wished room size. Prices begin at € 650,- per month if You are saticfied with a 20 m² sized roomed . The price includes a bed a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower. In the price available is a storage compartment in the basement. A parking lot is also available on request. A spacious lobby is situated on the first floor where You can welcome family and friends... All over a fine experience to stay and live over....

This would have been my 4th time staying in a Numa hotel (they’re usually my first pick always for a city break!!) and so sad to say it was extremely disappointing. I was on holiday in Munich (from Berlin) and was enjoying my time in the city so much that I decided to extend the trip , I was originally staying in a different Numa location but booked into this one for my additional two nights as my original accommodation was booked out - to say I just wish I had went home is putting it lightly. I was aware booking the location that I was a bit further from the centre of Munich - this did not bother me too much as there are visuals of how far you are away from everything in the preview photos - however you actually are a lot further and a 15 minute walk from the nearest train line, however this did not bother me all too much as it is a nice area to walk through! The real kicker was the room - on arrival there was a very odd smell from the room however the host when contacted put this down to it just being cleaned - however I was extremely upset to see that my room did not match the photos advertised- yes it resembled but when I booked I was looking at photos of a room with a balcony and velux windows with plenty of natural lighting - when I arrived I was on the lower ground floor in a room with no natural light due to a large black shutter being over the window from the outside!! Not to mention the curtains around said window being broken and held up by a piece of string! Not only that but I was also in a room with a wheelchair assisted bathroom which was fine but the whole room would be like a swimming pool after a shower. The television also did not work correctly , I had to contact the host for assistance on this - they then explained that the only have access to channels 300-400 hahaha which is fine but how would anyone know this without asking , the telly would also consistently cut on and off while watching anything. The final kick in the teeth was how unbelievably noisy the other tenants were - this seems to be a long term accommodation for some people , until 2am both mornings there was banging and slamming of doors. As a solo female traveller this made me feel a bit on edge. Really not great at all. Numa is a fantastic business and I will stay there again but not at this location ever again.

1. There is no elevator or reception in the building and they claim to be a 4 star hotel. Everything has to be arranged by WhatsApp. 2. The description of the room facilities does not reflect reality. Example: No king-size bed in the room, no olive oil and salt and pepper in the kitchenette. 3. Risk of being fined 2500 € when cooking a meal in case the smoke alarm is triggered (YES they have a sign in the room for this) 4. Very difficult communication with customer service - they schedule cleaning at their own convenience, they do not keep the right dates for cleaning appointments, they lie and act entitled and very very unprofessional. 5. Tricky behaviour from the staff during the whole stay. 6. Very noisy neighborhood, the people living in the facility next to numa are very noisy and scream during day and night. 7. Bad air quality in the room and in the co-working space. Definitely not recommended. Not worth the money, time, energy, and effort required to communicate with them. Be aware and choose another accommodation.
