Be sure to check all details before coming in. Read all instructions carefully to avoid hassles because no receptionist. Everything is digital! But the location is perfect. Very near a church too! Very nice ambiance👌
Starting with the positives: the room was clean and well-equipped. The beds were super comfy, the air con was a lifesaver during the heatwave, and the shower had great pressure, which was exactly what we needed. Now for the not-so-great parts. We didn’t mind that there was no reception, but it seems like there are some issues with the on-site staff that either go unnoticed or Numa just isn’t aware of. The communal areas (like the stairs and hallways) look great with their modern, moody lighting. But when the staff mop the floors, there are no signs to show the floor is wet, and it’s really hard to tell. A couple of times we nearly slipped, especially on the stairs, because we didn’t realize the floor was wet until it was too late. It feels like an accident waiting to happen. Lastly, something that really threw us off was that the bistro downstairs charged more than the actual price of the meal. When we asked about it, we were told the machine automatically adds a 10% tip. I asked why we weren’t told about it or given the choice to add a tip ourselves, and they just said they could refund it. When I mentioned that we should at least be informed (which we believe is the law as well), the response was, “The machine does it, I don’t know.” It’s hard to tell if this was something the staff decided or just how things are set up, but it didn’t sit right with us. Even if the hotel doesn’t directly run the bistro, it’s happening on the premises, and it felt worth pointing out.
There were no curtains or blinds in one of the bedrooms, and we woke up every day at six in the morning with the sunrise – it was terrible. Customer service said they couldn't help during our stay. Upon checking, we saw that the electric shutters had been completely removed from two huge windows, so they knew about it and still accepted reservations without fixing it. On top of that, the room has a luxurious bathtub, but you have to shower in full view of all the neighboring buildings. It's impossible to speak with customer service by phone – they only respond via WhatsApp. There's no reception desk or staff at the hotel to assist. We were simply stuck there with sleepless nights
