Nuvó Hotel Boutique

The location is excellent — less than a 10-minute walk to almost all the main attractions, and there’s a supermarket just downstairs, which was super convenient. The only thing that took us a bit of time was figuring out how to get into the hotel. The entrance is actually through the same driveway as the supermarket’s underground parking, and parking can be a little confusing. You need to park in the white-lined spaces — not the blue-lined ones, which are private spots reserved for other businesses in the building. If you’re carrying a lot of luggage, I recommend asking the hotel for a luggage cart in advance. The walk from the white-lined area to the hotel elevator isn’t long, but with heavy bags it can be a bit of a trek. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When we asked for directions to the cathedral, the front desk staff didn’t just point vaguely — he actually stepped outside with us and explained everything in detail, even showing us which streets were easier to walk. That kind of personal care really made an impression. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit with two full bathrooms — super spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were easily the best we had in Spain; I actually slept so well I didn’t want to get up — nearly 9am and I was still in bed 😅 And to top it off, we had a lovely view of the cathedral spires from our window, which made mornings even more special. The only small downside was the bright blue light from the air conditioning control panel, which was quite harsh at night. Even covering it with a towel didn’t fully block the light. That said, if we ever return to Oviedo, NUVÓ Hotel Boutique will be our first choice again — no question.

Very modern and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The suites on the top floor have a huge roof terrace with lounge chairs and sun beds. Paid parking is available and the breakfast is decent. The only negative point is the construction site next door, which should hopefully be a temporary nuisance.

Everything was new and nice. Rooms are clean and modern. Hotel parking is available for ~20€ in a nearby public parking accessible from elevator hotel. Only small complaint on indicating the hotel entrance. Once you put the address in Maps, it leads at the bottom of some stairs, but we did not see any indication with the hotel name.
